Judging: A Light Chasers Featured Artist will judge the show.

RULES & INFORMATION
Eligibility

Open to Light Chasers Members only.

Membership is confirmed by signing up on the website and receiving the weekly newsletter.
Entry Fee
-
$40.00, payable by cash, check, or credit card.
-
No refunds after February 20, 2025.
Mediums & Sizes
-
Accepted mediums: Oil, Pastel, Acrylic, Watercolor.
-
Not accepted: Electronic painting, photography.
-
Maximum painting size: 12" x 16" (excluding frame).
-
Watercolorists: Quarter sheets or 12" x 16".
-
Larger paintings require pre-approval by MaryAnn Ellicott before February 20, 2025.
Juror
-
A Light Chasers Featured Artist will serve as the juror.
Artwork Requirements
-
Paintings must be completed in the past two years.
-
Cannot have been shown in the last two Light Chasers shows.
Sales Policy
-
Artists keep 100% of sales.
-
Paintings can be marked NFS (Not for Sale).
-
Sold paintings should remain in the show until March 20, unless the buyer must take them.
-
Early removal (except for a sale) will result in a ban from future shows.
Framing & Presentation
-
Paintings must be dry, framed, and ready to hang.
-
Cropped canvases are acceptable if toned or painted on the sides.
-
Watercolors must be matted and framed.
-
Framing Requirements:
-
Wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers, fishing line, or chains).
-
Wire should be securely attached, about 1/3 down from the top.
-
Mats, glass, and plexiglass must be clean and scratch-free.
-

Light Chasers reserves the right to reject pieces that do not meet these requirements.
Labeling
-
Each painting must have a 3-part tracking label.
-
Available for download from the website or at drop-off.
-
Parts of the label:
-
One part attached to the painting (backside).
-
One part submitted to Light Chasers at Drop-Off.
-
One part kept by the artist (required for Pick-Up).

Pick-Up Policy
-
All unsold artwork must be picked up on March 20, between 6:00PM - 7:00PM.
-
Unclaimed artwork will be taken by a Light Chasers member.
-
$5.00 storage fee per day for late pick-up.
-
Must arrange pick-up directly with the person storing the painting.
-
Light Chasers members will not mail or deliver artwork.
-
If another artist picks up for you, they must sign for it and present your tracking label.

Liability
-
Artists assume all risks for submitted artwork.

Phillippi Estate Park & Light Chasers are not responsible for damage or theft.

Submission constitutes agreement to all terms listed.
Use of Images
-
By participating, artists consent to the use of their name and artwork for Light Chasers promotions.
-
Artists waive any claims for privacy or copyright infringement.
Exceptions
-
No exceptions to the rules will be made.
